Concert: Death and Vanilla - live score - 'Whistle And I'll Come To You'

From Scandanavia to South Cumbria - Death and Vanilla play a remarkable re-imagined live score to a cult film from yesteryear.

Whistle And I'll Come to You was a Jonathan Miller-adapted 1968 ghost story - originally part of BBC’s Omnibus series and featuring Michael Horden as a fussy professor who discovers an ancient whistle which summons up spirits.

Death and Vanilla have created an atmospheric soundtrack to accompany the film. They will play this live at Full of Noises while the film plays on backdrop.

This unique sound and film event takes place during Barrow Music Weekender 2025.

Death and Vanilla utilise vintage musical equipment such as vibraphone, organ, mellotron, tremolo guitar and moog, to emulate the sounds of 60s/70s soundtracks, library music, German Krautrock, French Ye-ye pop and 60s psych.
