☕🦋 Coffee Morning for Aria – Sunday 21st September 🦋☕
This isn’t just a coffee morning.
It’s a moment of meaning. A pause in the whirlwind. A gathering of hearts for a little girl who has changed our world.
Our coffee morning falls on Sunday 21st September, which also marks the final day of Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week (15th–21st September) — a week that now carries so much weight for our family.
A week that brings attention to a disease most people have never heard of… until it changes everything.
For us, it’s a week of honouring Aria, and every child living with mitochondrial disease — with courage, joy, and heartbreak all mixed together.
This Coffee Morning isn’t just about cake and tea (though there’ll be plenty of that!).
It’s about community.
It’s about hope.
It’s about not feeling alone in something that can so often feel isolating.
A special thank you to the incredible Griffin Community Centre, who reached out to us with open arms and offered their space so we could bring this event to life. Your kindness has meant the world to us.
💛 And to Germaine Huntington and Adam Barker — thank you for holding us through this, for showing up again and again, and for supporting every fundraising idea we’ve put forward without hesitation. Your steady presence has meant more than we can ever explain.
