Join Vermont CARES for a free, in-person Overdose Prevention Training at the Aldrich Library in the Milne Room.

Learn about:
- the basics of harm reduction
- the current drug supply
- and how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose.

We'll cover what naloxone is, how it works, and how to use it to save a life.

This training is hosted by the Central Vermont Prevention Coalition (a program of Central Vermont Medical Center) in collaboration with the Barre & Montpelier City Fire Departments and Barre Town EMS. Whether you're a concerned community member, service provider, or just want to be prepared—everyone is welcome.
