Alcohol ink - mindful art

Join local artist Louise Schofield as she guides you through the mindful process of creating art using alcohol ink.

A note from Louise:

"What is Mindfulness?

There are many ways to describe it, but for me it's being in the moment, without judgement or expectation. It's allowing yourself to release your worries whilst enjoying some time just for you, and let's face it, we all need a bit of that.

My mindful art workshops will be focused on relaxation through art. Allowing the ink just to flow around the paper without intention, just enjoying the movement and watching the colours blend into each other, accompanied with soft mindful music gently playing in the background. Finding our inner zen.

I will show you various techniques to get you started, and be around for guidance throughout the art workshop. Then it's up to you to let your mind and creativity wander..to quite literally..go with the flow.

All materials will be provided (and green tea if anyone fancies it)

I have found through the experience of my previous art workshops that the majority of people that attend my classes get totally absorbed with this art medium, as I do. "

Price £45 per person for 2 hours.
