Community Red Shoe Project Placed on Hold

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Gladstone Women’s Health has placed the upcoming community Red Shoe Project on hold until further notice.

The initiative, designed to raise awareness about domestic and family violence through a visual public display and community workshops, was inspired by the internationally recognised Red Shoes installation by artist Elina Chauvet.

We are currently working with Ms Chauvet to ensure all elements of the project align with her wishes and artistic approach. This includes guidance on specific elements within the display as well as the correct placement of shoes within the installation. We are committed to respecting her creative vision and will be guided by her direction on these elements to ensure alignment.
