WALK - Mary Kinross Park Bargara to the Whale Rock and return. 5 KM. 7.30 am departure

There are only a few weeks left in whale season so the opportunity for whale walks is diminishing.

This is a great opportunity to meet some fellow members at the same time. 😊.

From Mary Kinross Park at southern end of Bargara walking south to the Whale Rock and return. Bring binoculars if you have them? Also hat and water. We will likely have a drink from the coffee van on return if there is enough interest. Also there is a beach cleanup happening at 9.00 from Mary Kinross Park so some walkers might like to join in that activity. The cleanup is not one of our events.

There is a lot of whale activity so our chances of spotting whales is quite good. The season only runs till late October with whales becoming less frequent. The weather is also warming up, hence the earlier start time.
