Introduction to Christian Meditation (6-Week Course)

This introductory course offers step-by-step guidance in the practice and purpose of Christian Meditation in the style of the World Community of Christian Meditation (WCCM). Through this practice, participants grow in self-knowledge and self-acceptance, embarking on a deeply personal journey that bears benefits and spiritual fruits. Among these fruits is the realization that meditation is not undertaken in isolation, but within a spirit of spiritual fellowship. For this reason, WCCM is, at its heart, a community.

This 6-week course will meet Wednesdays at 4PM at Nazareth's O'Connell Hall beginning October 2 and commencing November 6. We provide all the necessary readings and other material each week. Each session has a welcome, a talk, a meditation period, and time for questions and discussion. The registration fee is $10 for the entire 6-week course.
