The tour starts right outside Els Quatre Gats restaurant, which was once a gathering place for artists, marking the site of Picasso's earliest exhibitions, the tour guide will take you to Sala Parès, now a gallery but once a hub for local artists to showcase their works. If you are lucky, you might even step inside and take a tour of how it looks!
Continue towards the Carrer d'Avinyó 44, which reveals a more intimate side of Picasso's life, a former brothel that inspired his iconic work 'Les Demoiselles d'Avinyó', the heart of Cubist art. Pass by La Llotja, an ancient fine arts academy, where Picasso studied as a teenager.
