Welcome to the public speaking and presentation workshop that actually works (part 2!). Transform the way you work, pitch, present, and communicate with 6 unique modules. This course brings together the skills we hone in improv and theatre and applies them to a professional context in a safe and encouraging setting. Take the full 6 weeks, or pick and choose the topics that suit you best!
11/9 Language Barrier
The way in which we say something and the way in which it gets received can doffer hugely. By working on our consulting language we insure that our misinterpretations are limited and we solve any issues within our team using non violent communication
18/9 Stress Buster
Speaking in public is stressful, so let’s put ourselves under the microscope with our pressure testing session. Designed to put you in high stakes situations with helpful tips and tools that will help you to mange your emotions and ride the wave of the difficulty with ease.
25/9 Risk Taker
If a fear of failure is slowing your momentum then it’s time to face those fears and get risky. This workshop is all about holding control loosely, and making room for unpredictability, intuition and the joy of stepping into the unknown. Feeling confident to think outside the box, and move forward fearlessly with calculated risks will lead you to places you never knew possible.
02/10 Managing Expectations
In our day to day lives we have to manage the difference between what we want to happen and what is realistic. We are constantly making sure these vertical and horizontal needs are being met but these relationships are complex, often long lasting and difficult to manage. This workshop focuses on how to manage your clients, your team as well as yourself.
9/10 Modulate
When we are nervous or excited it is easy for our voice to settle into a comfortable place and stay there. This can result in your listeners tuning out or missing what is most important. By learning how to modulate your voice and use your gestures and body language to your advantage you will capture the attention of your audience, altering the way in which you speak in public dramatically.
16/10 PowerUp!
Let's put it all together, taking up all the space we can. This workshop will be a bootcamp on everything that we have worked on. Tell stories, put yourself in stressful situations, mix problem solving with small talk and end fully connected to ourselves and to our partners.
