Celebrate Robbie Burns with AlgomaTrad 🎻
Join us for an evening of Scottish traditional music including tunes, songs, dance, stories, and good company.
We have made a shift this year to an evening without a catered meal, BUT, rest assured, there will be piping in of the haggis, address to the haggis, and more.
Haggis will be served along with other bits and bites, and something sweet (we make a version of haggis that is actually quite delicious!). If you have a favourite Scottish shortbread recipe and would like to bring some to add to our tables please let us know…the more the merrier, and then we can compare the delicate nuances between the different ones! There won’t be any bad ones, that’s for certain!
We’ll also have an assortment of single malt whiskeys, craft beers and wines available.
PLEASE let us know if you have mobility barriers as there is a little hill to walk up to reach the main hall. We’ll be sure to help guide you with your vehicle up to the door if needed.
If you are someone who would like to contribute a song or short story to the evening, please let us know and we could help make that happen.
Looking forward to a wonderful evening of sharing and community!
