𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧: September 22nd - September 26th, 2025
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: West Square Building + Sauk County Courthouse
𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬: On the first floor of the Sauk County West Square Building, retrieve a pinwheel. If you choose, on the pinwheel write the name of a loved one lost to overdose. Then, walk across the street to the corner of Broadway and 4th, where you will see our Pinwheels for Recovery banner displayed. Place your pinwheel in the lawn to honor and remember your loved one.
This display is part of 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 (August 31st) and 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 (September). Each pinwheel represents a life lost, a family forever changed, and our shared commitment to ending the stigma surrounding substance use disorder.
By participating, you help us:
- 𝗔𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 those who are no longer with us.
- 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 about the impact of overdose in our community.
- 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆, reminding others that treatment is available and recovery is real.
Together, we remember those we've lost, support those in need, and celebrate those in recovery.
