The American Heart Association, Heartsaver CPR Training course with Instructor Samantha Dixon from the Bar Harbor Fire Department is designed for people with little to no medical training who want to learn how to provide CPR, use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and administer basic first aid.
This class is $25.00 and the curriculum includes training on recognizing emergencies, performing CPR, and using an AED for adults, children, and infants, along with skills for relieving choking. Successful completion results in a two-year course completion card.
