This event is to get some pruning done on our long neglected apples and blackcurrants and to propagate these useful skills within the community.
We will have experienced pruners on site to demonstrate and guide you and can cover all aspects of winter/late spring pruning from tools, care and sharpening, through where, when and how to cut, aftercare and what to do with the prunings.
We will attempt to cater for all skill levels.
If you are a skilled pruner and would like to help share please contact us.
If you have them please bring sharp, clean secateurs, pruning saws and loppers.
Also weather and terrain appropriate clothing and footwear.
