Ymarfer Byw (Yn Fyw) hefo Dafydd Owain
Ddwy flynedd a rhai misoedd ers camu ar lwyfan Galeri i lansio ei ymdrech gyntaf ar gasgliad o ganeuon solo, mae Dafydd Owain yn dychwelyd i’r union fan i lansio ei ail ymdrech, a hynny mewn albwm ’dan y teitl Ymarfer Byw.
Yn ôl Dafydd, cam tuag at adwy drws nas agorwyd oedd ei albwm cyntaf, Uwch Dros y Pysgod. Ei fwriad gydag Ymarfer Byw yw camu dros adwy’r union ddrws hwnnw.
Dyma wahoddiad felly i ymuno â Dafydd mewn rhyw fath o gloddiad archeolegol lletchwith o’i feddyliau tyfnaf ac i foesymgrymu i bob un ffaeledd amwys yn eu tro.
Yn ymuno â Dafydd ar y noson fydd y parti lleisiol, Eryrod Meirion o ardal Y Bala, yn ogystal â chefnogaeth gan y band Blodau Papur.

Two years (and a bit) after stepping onto the Galeri stage to launch his debut solo album, Dafydd Owain returns to the very same spot to unveil his second release — Ymarfer Byw (loosely translated as ‘to practise living’).
Dafydd describes his first album, Uwch Dros y Pysgod, as a tentative step toward an unopened door. With Ymarfer Byw, he intends not only to open that door — but to step through it.
He now invites you to join him on a form of awkward archaeological dig through his innermost thoughts, where every vague fault is laid bare and acknowledged, one by one.
Joining Dafydd on the night are the rich harmonies of the Welsh vocal ensemble Eryrod Meirion, along with support by the band Blodau Papur.
Please note: The performance will encounter some emotionally serious themes. While the themes aren’t presented explicitly, some material may feel intense for younger audience members or members with a particular sensitivity for the themes explored.
