IAFF Peer Training Class - Hosted by the PFFMaine

PFFMaine will be hosting an IAFF Peer Training Class on October 20th & 21st, 2025 at the Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway in Bangor. Below is an overview of the IAFF's Peer Training Class for your information. The class is limited to 30 students and will be taught by two IAFF Peer Instructors, Drew Kane, FDNY and Michael Jefferson from the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts. There is a $200.00 registration fee per student and Breakfast & Lunch will be provided on both days.

The PFFMaine has also blocked a group of sleeping rooms for attendees at a rate of $169.00 per night if you are planning to stay overnight. Use our event code PFFMAINE25 to access our block of rooms and get our reduced rate.

Participants first complete the online IAFF Behavioral Health Awareness Course. The free two-hour course is self-paced, tailored for the fire service. Information about accessing the prerequisite is emailed to each registered participant prior to the Peer Support Training.
