Come and join us as we explore and photograph the Wutthakat neighbourhood. We plan to start from exit 4 of BTS Wutthakat and head southwest along the Bang Khun Thian canal, turning southeast along the Ton Sai canal until we hit the train tracks. We'll be following them back to Wutthakat SRT station and up to a friendly market on a nearby soi. Finally, we'll meet at CHAN Café on Wutthakat Road, a short distance from the start point.
Highlights along the route include Wat Mai Yai Nui and Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Bang Sakae - please dress appropriately. Additionally, the route includes crossing the rail tracks on a couple of occasions, so suitable footwear is recommended.
Charge your batteries and bring empty memory cards. You'll love this walk! We welcome people of all skill levels with all kinds of cameras, from phones to DSLRs, digital or film.
Join us September 14 at 8:30 am at Exit 4 of Wutthakat BTS station. After the walk, you will be invited to send us your favourite photos by September 21. The best of them will go into our monthly magazine and you can get live feedback on them at the Walk Talk. That'll be at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, September 24 at O'Shea's Irish Pub on Soi Sukhumvit 33/1, near BTS Phrom Phong. Look out for the Walk Talk event for more details.
