Akira Kurosawa's "Roshomon" was written down as a play in Hindi by Raghuvir Sahai. The Hindi script was later translated to Kannada by S.Malathi. The classic revolves around 2 main incidents, a lady is assaulted and her husband is murdered. A fulfledged investigation of the murder takes place. This elaborate experience of perceptions and interrogations, leads to several questions of reality, humanity, and morality. It also explores the different shades of humanity in a situation as such. In this interrogation of humanity and morality, the law strives for justice of the Murder only. While there is only one ultimate truth, there are numerous different ways or paths to reach it. Although there are a few unanswered questions, they get along with the reality and their lives.
