The Ravi Iyer Fusion Quartet

The Ravi Iyer Fusion Quartet is a world fusion project led by acclaimed guitarist, composer, and educator Ravi Iyer. Blending Hindustani and Carnatic classical with rock and jazz, his original compositions feature intricate melodies and rhythmic patterns that engage and inspire. A seasoned performer since the ’90s, Ravi Iyer began his musical journey with Tabla training under Shri Vasantrao Acharekar before mastering the guitar with mentors like Late Bismarck Rodrigues, Christopher Rodricks, and John Timothy. His career spans award-winning compositions, collaborations with icons like Ustad Fazal Qureshi, Sivamani, Dr. L Subramaniam, Louis Banks, and Vikku Vinayakram, and performances at prestigious festivals worldwide, making him a celebrated force in India’s independent and fusion music scene.
