 EBCA Maha Durga Puja 2025
A Symphony of Devotion and Diversity
Durga Puja is never just a festival.
It is a story… of faith, of culture, of togetherness.
And this year, EBCA tells that story in a way that flows into every heart.
The story begins at the altar of light.
Where Sri Siba Prasad Da (Purohit Sri Sibaprosad Mukhopadhyay) – a humble yet profound scholar of Sanatan Dharma – will lead us into the sacred world of Maa Durga. His mantras, his Puranic tales, his gentle wisdom will make our pandal breathe with devotion, stillness, and peace.
From the altar, wisdom takes us by the hand.
The timeless soul of College Street journeys to Bangalore, carrying 5000+ Bengali books. Each book is a heartbeat, each page a memory – gifting our children and generations to come the love of language, literature, and heritage.
Then, the colors begin to sing.
The ancient art of Patachitra arrives, in collaboration with Sonajuri Arts / Uma Dream Foundation. Bengal’s patuas – the wandering storytellers – will unfurl their scrolls with brush and song, weaving stories that have traveled through centuries. Tradition will not just be seen, but felt.
As dusk falls, the stage awakens.
The legendary Anindya Bose and his band *Sahar* step in, their music carrying us where nostalgia turns into pride. And our EBCA family – children, youth, and elders – take the stage too, reminding us that this Puja belongs to every voice, every dream, every heartbeat.
And then comes the night…
A night where devotion sways into dance.
The ground becomes a sea of rhythm as International DJ Joyu and the electrifying Red FM DJ Dandiya set the sky on fire. Under the stars, tradition and modernity clasp hands, and we dance – together, unbound, alive.
This is the story of EBCA Maha Durga Puja 2025.
A story where heritage melts into harmony, devotion into diversity, and celebration becomes a thousand shimmering colors.
This year, let us not just celebrate Puja.
Let us live it. Together.
