It has taken us quite a while to get this information to you and for that we apologize. We have been holding off writing this email until we could confirm the status of our road situation up north. The plans to raise the yurt and have camping guests at our property will not be possible this year, as the plan was dependent on the road being finished. Even with twenty years of renovation experience, putting in a new road comes with its own twisting and turning learning curve! We'll be able to laugh about it one day, but right now, we're tired - and accepting that the road will likely not be finished until this Fall. Additionally, we had hoped to be able to help folks with making arrangements for transportation and accomodation, but realize that we still have to muster the energy to sort out the road work challenges in the next few months. Once we can actually have the pleasure of driving down the road ourselves, we can plan for another event in the future. So we're going to rely on Marilyn and Svinda at Rise Above Guest House to host the two evenings of music. https://riseaboveguesthouse.ca/accommodations/) . The closest public campground is Silent Lake, which is about 20 minutes south of Bancroft. For those of you who want to attend either or both of these events, it will be entirely in your hands to find your own accomodation and transport.
Yeshu Satsang on Friday August 22nd is a free event.
The Indian Classical concert at the same venue, on Saturday, August 23rd (the following evening) is a ticketed event for $25.

We strongly suggest also contacting Marilyn and Svinda for detailed directions to their home at Rise Above Guest House. Direction suggestions are also written below by the address, but finding the place can be tricky if you are relying entirely on google maps/GPS.

Note that just plugging this address into Google Maps takes you on a route that is not preferable. It is better to go north on 62, and then after Bancroft town, take a right on Musclow Greenview Rd drive 12 km, and then take another right on East Rd. Loop for 2.4 km until reaching #470 on the right hand side. Drive up the winding driveway to the house.
