Second Annual Dachshund Dash - 2025 Dachshund Races

Get ready for an afternoon of fun for the whole family as the Dachshund Dash returns to Century Downs!

Join us on Saturday, June 21st for a friendly, non-wagering event featuring these adorable four-legged racers, taking place after live horse racing concludes.

Horse racing begins at 12:45 PM, with Dachshund races scheduled to start around 4:00 PM, depending on the number of horse races on the card.

Enjoy the lively atmosphere with a live DJ and indulge in our Special Hot Dog Menu at The Starting Gate Food Truck!

Alberta Dachshund Rescue will be on site hosting a 50/50!

Parachutes For Pets will be hosting their thrifty animal pet shop!

Screaming Retriever Brewing Co will have a sampling and their beers on sale at all bars for the day!

Happy Dogs Wine will have a sampling and their wines will be on sale at all the bars for the day!

Petland has sponsored our prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the Dachshund races and will be on site with giveaways to all pets who attend!

Admission and parking are FREE, so bring the whole family and experience the excitement!

Pure breed and Mixes are allowed to compete, as long as they have some Dachshund in them!
