The Relaunch to "Charm City 50" & The Charm'tastic Mile Day/Wknd on April 25 2025 (4-25-25). Join in the celebration in the Spring/Summer '25 relaunch to "Charm City 50" the 50th Anniversary (1975-2025) of the Iconic nickname for Baltimore that that was coined in 1975 by then Mayor William Donald Schaefer. 2025 marks the 50th Anniversary of Charm City.

April 25th will also mark the 4th Annual Charm'tastic Mile Day '25 for the City of Baltimore. Charm'tastic Mile Day was 1st Proclaimed by Mayor Brandon Scott on April 25 2022. It was the same day that HBO released the documentary-mini-series "We own This City". The creators of the critically acclaimed The Wire David Simon & George Pelecanos created and exec-produced "We Own This City".

Gov. Wes Moore will honor the relaunch to "Charm City 50" & Charm'tastic Mile Day with a Governor's Citation for day and its celebratory events. The "Charm'tastic Mile" is routinely mentioned as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous/Iconic Streets in America.

The "Charm'tastic Mile" was 1st introduced to Baltimore on April 16 2016 (4-16-2016). It shares the same introduction date to the city as the majestic "Domino Sugars" neon sign (4-25-1951)
