Whacky science experiments, wilderness survival, cooking, sewing, woodworking, storytelling—you never know what incredible new skills you’ll gain at the Wildwood Laboratory, with Balsam Lake Library’s resident Mad Scientist, Sam! The Wildwood Laboratory is a perfect after-school program for hands-on learners and a great addition to any homeschool curriculum.

GUEST INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Kasey is an interdisciplinary artist whose roots in the rural midwest inform her work across a breadth of traditional and modern craft. Her practice with fiber, wood, leather, willow and bark examines the intersection of utility and beauty; how does a culture’s interaction with handmade objects co-evolve, and what is fine art?
