Evenings at PARI - The Night Shift

Have you ever stepped outside on a clear night and wondered about the constellations represented by the patterns above? Do you keep meaning to find the time to learn names of the constellations, the stories behind them, and learn the interesting space objects nestled within the patterns made by the bright stars? We’re here to help!

Using PARI’s planetarium, a seasoned astronomer will help you to identify the patterns and their unique background information. Weather permitting, a sky scavenger hunt will follow the indoor teaching session to practice the newly learned constellation identification skills. Volunteers with telescopes will also be available to assist participants in viewing the prominent celestial objects in the night sky.

Ticket packages are available to join for the evening program only or to stay overnight. Dinner is also available.
