25th October 2025 Take 2!!! The Hidden Village of Galbolly 11am-4pm

After last years failed attempt to visit this area we are hoping to get there this time.

This site has a steep climb on uneven rough ground so please be aware and make sure you wear suitable footwear. May not be suitable for anyone not of a fit disposition.
Please bring a packed lunch in your backpack as due to the nature of the site we likely will NOT return to cars for lunch as normal.

Please note.. THERE ARE NO SIGNS ON THE COASTROAD FOR THIS SITE. PLEASE WATCHOUT FOR US IF YOU HAVE BEEN BEFORE AND KNOW OUR VEHICLES. IT IS HALF ROUND THE HEADLAND ON GOOGLE MAPS.
There are 2 Parking areas that appear to lead to this site. PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE ONE THAT IS ONLY ON THE LAND SIDE AND AVOID THE ONE WITH PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD

From the North (Ballycastle/Portrush/Portstewart) Best to travel along the coast road via Cushendall to Waterfoot. Continue along the coast road. The Carpark will be on your right, there is a small white cottage (Fallowvee Cottage) on your left just before the parking area.
From South/West, Travel to Ballymena and follow for Carnlough. In the village follow the coast road north towards Waterfoot. Travel approx. 5.5miles, Pass the first parking area that has parking on the coastal side and land side, continue on and the parking area will be on your left before the white cottage.
