A practical workshop exploring the evolution of the Junk Journal from its scrapbooking days of decorated pages of family photos and events, to a handmade, hand-stitched hardcover book using recycled and repurposed everyday household items like printing paper, greeting cards, cereal boxes, fabrics, old lace, and ribbon.
Participants will take away an information Junk Journal PDF with general info, suggested YouTube videos, and Etsy best buys for printables and embellishments, Junk Journal Facebook groups and the opportunity to join a dedicated Facebook group for participants of 'Phoenix Alternative Body & Soul' Junk Journaling workshops.
All materials and tools for the workshop will be provided, however, if participants have any craft materials or tools, (liquid or stick glue), craft cutting board, steel ruler, cereal boxes, lightweight cardboard, or scrap paper that can be recycled or repurposed (e.g., wrapping paper, greeting cards, magazine pages, stickers, embroidery cotton or other decorating materials), please feel free to bring them.
Workshop price is $80
