PLEASE HELP - Parc Llanferres Park - your help raising up to £2,000 on Sat 6th / Sun 7th Sep - are you available half/full/two days?
We need around £3,000 per annum to keep the playground and park safe and open - this is chance for you to have a great day out and help us raise a significant donation by marshalling UCI Gravel mountain bike event at Llyn Brenig / Colcaenog Forest.
WE ARE DEPERATELY SHORT of volunteers! Social media, email and posters in the playground has resulted in just ONE person offering help - if you value the park and playground, PLEASE consider giving some of your time to this event!!!
Those doing previous marshalling will know its a very rewarding day out! Thank you to those volunteering so far- we need a lot lot more please!
This is an opportunity to secure long term commitment as the event will be run for several year to come .. letting the organisers down now will means we'll miss out on future fund raising !!
We need over 70 people if we split morning/afternoon sessions .. less of we can secure your commitment for the full day. The event will run from 11am to about 5pm on both days. It will take about 1hr+ to travel to the event and walk to the marshal point, some may take a bit longer.
We've been asked this year to do the Sat event as well, but the Sunday event is the main one ... so if you have just one day available, please offer up the Sunday!! We'll organise a well earned drink after the event for you all to socialise and share experiences!
