Kids Volunteering: Toiletry Bag Making

OK here goes nothing! Let’s try this out. We will be making toiletry bags that I will deliver to Face to Face Germantown.

Can we try for 30 bag?

Each bag will have:
2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner (~3oz bottle)
Deodorant
Toothbrush/toothpaste
Bar of soap
(Optional)- lotion, washcloth, razor/shaving cream.

If everyone who is committed to coming can bring either 30 (or 15 and buddy up) of 1 item then we can make a bunch of bags. Please comment under which item you plan on brining.

I will have a read along book for talking to the kids about the “why” behind this. I can also make a snack for the adults and one for the kids. Feel free to also bring something, just comment if there is any allergies we should avoid.

We can discuss at this meet up how to proceed going forward!

Meeting will be at my house so DM me for the address. I have a dog and cat at home but I will have them in a separate room during the meet up.
