SALAM International Children’s and Youth Film Festival – Baku, Azerbaijan
The SALAM International Children’s and Youth Film Festival is an annual cultural event held in Baku, Azerbaijan, celebrating the art of cinema for young audiences. Since its inception, the festival has aimed to promote values such as friendship, peace, creativity, and diversity among children and teenagers through the universal language of film.
Each year, young filmmakers, actors, and film enthusiasts from around the world gather in Baku to share their work, participate in workshops, and engage in cultural exchange. The festival showcases a wide range of short films, animated features, documentaries, and live-action movies, all created either for or by young people.
Organized with the support of The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PASHA Holding, Narimanfilm , SALAM encourages dialogue, artistic expression, and understanding across cultures. It also provides a platform for young talents to be recognized and inspired, while offering audiences the opportunity to experience global perspectives through cinema.
