Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance (GBLA) is dedicated to promoting social change and justice by providing high-quality legal services to Kern County's low-income and elderly communities. Since 1968, GBLA has strived to represent those who are unable or too afraid to speak for themselves due to racial, economic, social, or legal barriers. In 2024, GBLA provided the full range of legal services to over 4,000 eligible clients and their families.
GBLA invites you to sponsor our 2nd Annual Gala & Recognition Ceremony. As GBLA’s main fundraising event of the year, the Gala supports our ability to provide free legal services to Kern County’s low-income and elderly residents.

Our Annual Gala is an opportunity for our organization to highlight individuals who have made significant contributions to our community in securing and promoting justice for others - particularly the indigent and underserved among us. This event celebrates their tireless efforts to advance justice and make a positive change in our community.
