"It's all okay... until it's not" Succession Planning: Omeo

As part of the Victorian Seniors Festival 2025, NEX and East Gippsland Shire Council are hosting and funding a series of informative workshops on Succession Planning.

This two-hour session on Tuesday 26 October at New Rush Brew House (Omeo) will be informative and designed to give farming families clarity, confidence, and a practical pathway forward in planning for succession. There is a light meal included!

We will explore why succession planning matters and the very real costs of doing nothing. Through real-life stories, Q&A, and a clear breakdown of options, you will see how families can work through uncertainty toward a fair, affordable, and family-centred approach.

• How a facilitated approach can protect both your farm and your family’s future
