2025 Summer Evening Getaways

Get away for a relaxing and enjoyable evening to get your weekend started. Summer Evening Getaways is a Friday evening family-friendly series on the winery lawn, featuring live music by solo entertainers, a rotating line of delicious food trucks, kids activities, and lawn games for all ages. Whether you’re sipping wine in the shade , slurping a slushy in the sun, or dancing on the lawn with your little ones, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, grab a bite to eat, and make lasting memories with friends and family at our scenic estate.

Minors

Children and other persons under age 21 are welcome to attend Summer Evening Getaways with their parents or guardian. Parents must supervise at all times. PA laws make it illegal for anyone (including a parent) to furnish an alcoholic beverage to a minor, and underage drinking is not allowed on the winery grounds.

Kids Activities

Kids can look forward to a variety of fun activities! Enjoy endless bubbles with our bubble machine, get moving with hula hoops, and take home a punching balloon (one per child). Plus, don’t miss our scheduled hayride at 6:30 PM—a highlight for the whole family!

Pets

Please keep your pets leashed at all times and pick up after them. Pets are not allowed inside of the winery building.

Seating

• Bring a lawn chair or blanket and sit wherever you like.
• On the patios, there is a limited number of 4-person tables and chairs - availability is first-come first-served.

Beverages & Food

• Food from a local food truck will be on-site with a selection of various items. You are also welcome to bring your own food. (No carry-in alcohol except Nissley wine).

• Choose from a variety of Nissley wines ranging from dry to very sweet.

• Nissley wines may be purchased by the glass or by the bottle. You are welcome to take bottled wines home with you.

• Local craft beer will be available.

• Wine Slushies will be available again this season.

• Zero-proof beverages, and kid-friendly drinks will be available.

Please refrain from:

• Bringing an alcoholic beverage other than Nissley wine.

• Using grills, fires, torches, and bright LED's.

• Spraying pesticides, pouring candle wax, or dumping food on the lawn or pavement.

• Carrying weapons of any type.

• Smoking or vaping. They are allowed only as follows: 1) In the parking meadows. 2) On the hill behind the food trucks. 3) In the gravel lane behind the fence East of the winery. 4) In the access driveway behind the stage.

• Dressing offensively. Shirts are required.

Rain/Weather Policy

• If it looks like rain, bring an umbrella.
• If we cancel the event, it will be shared on our social media handles and our website.
