Come and HEAR emerging artist, Sarah Ku, Groton School Senior play the St. Andrew's organ. Her program will include:
Passacaglia in c, BWV 582, Johann Sebastian Bach,
Organ Sonata No.4, MWV W 59, Allegro con brio, Andante religioso, Allegretto, Allegro Maestoso e vivace Felix Mendelssohn
Before joining Groton School, Sarah was an organ music scholar at Clifton College in Bristol, UK, where she received the Britton Organ Scholarship.
Sarah is a passionate organist and pianist, achieving Grade 8 distinction through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music exam at a young age. Notably, she also came second in the 2020 St Edmundsbury Cathedral Virtual Organ Competition.
Sarah will play the St. Andrew's pipe organ, installed in 1962 as the 1916 Opus 1423 of the Estey Organ Company of Brattleboro, Vermont.
