On Friday, September 26, the OWLs will visit Take Tea in Avon from 11 am to 1pm.
Take Tea is a destination in Avon, Connecticut (19 East Main St) where guests can enjoy a leisurely "afternoon tea" similar to what is offered in Ireland and Great Britain.
Nothing could be written to prepare you for this wonderful experience. Their website is taketeainct.com. Please be sure to look at their menu and see what makes up an afternoon tea. Kris highly recommends Take Tea as she has visited it several times!
The absolute DEADLINE for registering and paying for this event is August 19th.
If you are interested in a new experience, some laughs and GREAT food please RSVP ASAP and send your check for $50 to Mona Perlot, 473 Wood Hill Rd., Cheshire, 06410. With your check also include if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
There is plenty of parking right in front of the Tea house.
There is a lovely gift shop, My Secret Garden, in the vicinity (51 East Main St).
