Alyssa Armeni, MSSA, LSW, a school social worker with ESC Eastern Ohio will be partnering with the Austintown PTA Council to present the Stanford Tobacco Prevention Toolkit. This curriculum teaches students about the risks of e-cigarettes, the marketing, tactics used to target teens, and skills to refuse use. The program supports students at different stages - those who have never used, those who are curious, and those experimenting - to make healthier choices.

This Town Hall is funded by the National PTA Vape-Free Futures Challenge Grant awarded to the Austintown PTA Council.
