Dear Friends of Gateways,
Gateways to Better Living is excited to invite you and your students/individuals to our upcoming Not So Haunted House — a free, sensory-friendly Halloween experience designed for children and adults of all ages and abilities.
Location: Austintown Plaza – Old Casals Building (next to the Post Office)

ESPECIALLY FOR SCHOOLS & PROVIDERS: Friday, October 17th 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Saturday, October 18th 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
This event features a variety of fun, interactive stations that provide hands-on sensory experiences, including:
• 🌊 Luminous Lagoon – a walk-through undersea adventure (sight & sound)
• ⛏️ Minecraft Mystic Island – build life-size Creepers and Zombies (sight & touch)
• 🍪 Monster Munch – toss creatures into the monster’s mouth (touch)
• 🎁 What’s in the Box? – mystery guessing game (touch)
• 🧪 Hocus Pocus Potion – create a magical disappearing drink (taste)
• 🎃 Pumpkin Plinko – win prizes as chips clink and drop (touch & sound)
• 🌌 Galaxy Goo – make scented slime to take home (touch & smell)
• 🚪 Practice Trick-or-Treat Door – practice trick-or-treating in a supportive way. Families will also receive special Trick-or-Treat Cards for children with unique needs who may have difficulty with traditional trick-or-treating but still want to participate.
👗 Costumes are encouraged (fun and friendly, not scary).
