Watercolor 201: Beyond Basics

We’ll explore how a single color can create depth and mood through composition, layering, and blending. You’ll practice value scales, controlled washes, and glazing, then complete a finished monochrome painting that highlights how versatile one hue can be.

• Use color theory (hue, value, saturation) in a monochrome palette
• Blend washes and glazes for smooth transitions
