Song Rise Sessions II Showcases ATX’s Current & Next Generation of Music Trailblazers

Song Rise Sessions II isn’t just a well-curated concert — it’s a launchpad for Austin’s next generation of heavyweight artists. This year’s showcase features acclaimed locals including Vietnamese American pop/rap artist Promqueen alt-pop songwriter Somebody Someone “genre-hopping hustler” (Austin Chronicle) Quentin rapper Anastasia Hera and bedroom pop artist Skateland.

They’ll share the stage with eight rising artists from the Song Rise Arts Thrive Program — Eddie Angel Kira Luna Zachquietedwn Yen Gem and ULTRAVioletcoraline — performing original songs spanning alt-R&B bedroom pop and soulful pop en Español. Hosted by “Austin soul sensation” (KUTX) Tomar Williams of Tomar and the FCs the event celebrates a year of mentorship workshops and studio sessions led by industry pros including Grammy-winner Beto Martinez and producer Omar Vallejo.

Supported by the City of Austin Economic Development Department and EQ Austin Song Rise Sessions spotlights artists stepping into their creative power and purpose.
