Join us for Junk Journaling 101, a beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn how to turn everyday scraps into a creative, expressive journal. It’s the perfect introduction to a hobby that celebrates imperfection, creativity, and the beauty of the “beautiful mess.”

📓 What You’ll Do

• Learn what junk journaling is and how to start your own
• Explore how to choose or build a journal that fits your style
• Use prompts to spark ideas and creative momentum
• Gather and organize materials around a theme
• Create ephemera and embellishments like pockets, tags, and layered collage elements
• Discover how everyday items like envelopes, book pages, and packaging can become art

🎨 All Materials Provided

• A journal to start your first junk journaling project
• Assorted papers, scraps, ephemera, and embellishment materials
• Pre-made ephemera and embellishment
• Specialized tools and adhesives for collage and assembly
• A take-home starter kit so you can continue journaling after the workshop

• Adults ages 18+
• Beginner-friendly — no journaling or art experience needed
