Bhagavad Gita Book Club (Study Circle): Chapter 7-- Wisdom & Knowledge

At the end of the last chapter, it is declared that the greatest yogi is one who knows the divine with faith and concentration. In this chapter, Krishna explains our higher self's excellence, all-pervasiveness and supremacy within our lives. Here, Krishna explains his material and spiritual energies. "I am the taste in water, the light of the sun and the moon...". We come to learn more about how the divine manifests into the visible universe via Samkhya theories of creation. He also explains to us the 4 classes of worship as well as the classes of souls that may still be attached and lost in the wheel of samsara and Maya.

For those who may be attending for the first time, we are using the Easwaran 2nd edition of the Gita for the study group.
