Mushroom Walk with John Wheeler

Join BNRC and founder of the Berkshire Mycological Society, John Wheeler, on an exploration of fungi at BNRC’s beautiful Steepletop reserve. With every walk, there’s the possibility that John might add to the count of mushroom species he’s found in the Berkshires as a mushroom hunter: 1,100 to date!

John has been foraging mushrooms for 30+ years. You can find him leading walks and teaching at Berkshire Botanical Garden, TurnPark, Dry Hill, Mount Everett, and other special places.
