Create Austell Downtown Walk

We're bringing back our Create Austell Downtown Walk for 2025! Last year we had a great turnout as we reimagined what downtown Austell can be. This will be a casual walk with like-minded individuals who want to build a flourishing, and walkable downtown Austell. During our walk we'll take time to stop and observe the urban core of our city.

We’ll note opportunities, where it struggles, and come up with ideas on what we can do. We'll also discuss new developments in the downtown and the city’s 2021 LCI study which acts as a blueprint for downtown growth. Afterwards, we'll grab some food and mingle at South Cobb Diner for casual discussion!

We'll be meeting in the parking lot for South Cobb Diner/ Dough In The Box at the fountain. Just look for the gathering of people.

The walk will be under 2 miles, taking approximately 60 - 75 minutes at a leisurely pace.
