The Regular is an indie-folk band based in Denver, CO. Originally formed in Chicago, IL in 2014, frontman Oscar Aguilar began busking and recording music as a solo artist. In 2017, Oscar met virtuosic keyboardist Spencer Adamson and the two relocated to Denver with the goal of forming the world’s most awesome band. Since then they have added drummer Patrick Smith, lead guitarist Cormac Piper, and bassist Scott Barber to the lineup. The Regular draws on an eclectic array of inspiration and approaches songwriting with sincere storytelling and an often punk driven approach which lends itself to rowdy and energetic live shows. After releasing a string of singles, the band released their first full length Self-Titled album in 2023. The band is currently in the process of writing their sophomore album and continues to headline shows across the Denver-Metro area.
