Local author Karmen Scott returns for a Saturday Signing, this time with her newest novel.

Ja'Mila Choi, once a hopeful teenager who saw herself as a famous artist, married and living happily ever after. But her life didn't turn out that way. After experiencing a traumatic betrayal, she finds herself in a whirlwind of uncertainty when her best friend suddenly returns after leaving eight years prior.
Mila finds herself wondering just how she will navigate through her new normal with her beautiful daughters. While trying to juggle single motherhood, her career, and a new business, her personal issues spiral out of control, which leaves her uncertain about her self-worth and baggage. However, a surprise knocks on her door, reminding her of who she is and how much she deserves true, unconditional love.
✍️ About the Author:
Karmen Scott, a wife, and mother of two, is an Augusta, Georgia native. She received her high school diploma from Lucy Craft Laney High School in 2014 and her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Brenau University in 2020. However, Karmen’s first love is writing, which she has been doing since she learned how to create stories.
Karmen attended Georgia Gwinnett College from 2014-2017 where she wrote her very first novel, Inexperienced her freshman year. She is now the published author of four books, completing her very first book series. Although she wears many hats, writing will always be her passion. She is also the founder of Child of Purpose, LLC, and has a blog where she writes inspirational pieces to encourage her followers. Karmen hopes to continue her journey as a writer and published author in the years to come.
