Rooted 250

Rooted 250 is a one-night art exhibition and community gathering celebrating Augusta’s 250th anniversary through the lens of origin, place, and belonging.

Bringing together professional artists, students, and community voices, the show explores how our personal and shared histories shape who we are today and what we grow into tomorrow. Works span visual art, design, photography, and storytelling, offering a layered portrait of the people and cultures that make this region home.

Hosted at the Maxwell Theatre in downtown Augusta, Rooted 250 invites the public to experience this event as a living collection of roots, memories, and creative voices—past, present, and future.
