International Overdose Awareness Day at the Access Center
Join ME-RAP and Everything Not Said Out Loud on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 PM at the Access Center, 47 Water St, Augusta, ME for a community gathering to honor lives lost to preventable overdose, support those still here, and take action together.
What to expect:
Speakers & stories from people with lived experience, family members, and community leaders
Memory Wall to add names, photos, and messages of love and remembrance (bring a photo!)
Food & connection—share a meal, meet neighbors, and find support
Collective action—simple ways to advocate for policies and programs that save lives
This event is free and open to everyone: people in recovery, people who use drugs, family and friends, providers, allies, and anyone who cares about making our community safer and more compassionate.
Come remember. Come heal. Come organize.
