"Harvest" Moon Hike

Experience the trails of the Phinizy Center and Nature Park AFTER HOURS with our "Harvest" Moon Hike.

From the serenade of tree frogs to the soothing calls of Barred Owls, the sounds of the Swamp come alive at night! Join us as we celebrate a walk in the light of a “Harvest” moon by guiding you on a leisurely hike through the Nature Park trails. Children and adults will enjoy the beauty of the evening.

Want to grab a bite to eat before the hike or roast a marshmallow to put on a delicious S’more? We invite you to come early to relax around the campfire. We will have S’more kits, and hot dog or hamburger plates available to enjoy as we watch the park transform with the sunset. Order must be placed by 9 am on September 5, 2025.

You will have an option to register for a “Shorter/Kid Friendly Hike” that will start at 7:45 pm and go to 9:00 pm.

OR

You can register for the regular “Harvest Moon Hike” that will start at 8:45 pm and can go to 11:00 pm.

Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and bring water to drink. Strollers are welcome. No dogs, please.

6:00 pm – 8:30 pm: S’mores, Grilled hot dog/hamburger plates

7:45 pm – 9:00 pm: “Shorter/Kid Friendly Hike” (Children must be accompanied by parent/guardian)

8:45 pm – 11:00 pm: “Sturgeon Moon Hike“

Tickets are limited and registration is required.
