Join Kat Beaudoin for a series of 5 in-person gatherings to explore the Throat (5th) chakra as the instrument of Self Empowerment and a support for Well Being. Combining the use of non-violent communication, sound, movement, toning, humming and chanting, we will explore myriad proven vocalization techniques to help us connect with our deepest authentic selves. Let us use our voices as instruments of healing and change!
Having transcended the traumas of her childhood, Kat believes that sound and song as well as expressive and improvisational arts were instrumental to her healing. In this series she shares what she learned from her teachers about using her voice, and her body to move energy in safe and healthy ways. No prior experience or ability is necessary; only a willingness to explore!
In her 7 decades, she has studied voice, martial arts, visual & performing arts and myriad spiritual and energy healing techniques; in addition, her 40+ year career in community planning and workshop development helped her refine her group facilitation skills. Now she is integrating these modalities and skills to support people intent on transcending limiting beliefs, and painful experiences so as to remember that a fundamental purpose for living is to experience joy and well being. Let’s have some fun while we are at it!
Sessions convene on Sundays - September 7 & 21, October 5 & 19, and end on November 2. Register in advance for all 5 sessions for $200 ($40 per session - recommended). ‘By the session’ fee is $50. Cash, Check & Bartering Accepted.
