Conference Information
We welcome all information security professionals, students, and enthusiasts to the eleventh annual BSidesAugusta! We have a new venue for BSidesAugusta this year! The Saturday conference will be held at the Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center (aka the Georgia Cyber Center) on Grace Hopper Lane in downtown Augusta!
We are excited to welcome Dr. Johannes Ullrich, Dean of Research for SANS Technology Institute, a SANS Faculty Fellow, and founder of the Internet Storm Center as our keynote! His keynote will be simulcast from Track 1 to all other track rooms.
The year's conference will host three tracks of mostly technical talks and a couple of great CTF's upstairs.
Our official CTF sponsor is the local RunCode.ninja team, who will be hosting the CTF from the Track 4 room. This CTF will present a number of challenges which are sure to intrigue noobs and greybeards alike! Come join the RunCode team and hack all the things! Watch the RunCode.ninja social media (@runcode_ninja) for teasers and more information. Bring your own laptop if you want to participate. For more details about the CTF, click here.
In the Track 5 room, our friends at IG Labs are running a Regional Airport CTF. Test your skills as a Blue Teamer to regain control and restore the airportβs OT systems or launch an attack of your own as a Red Teamer to continue to disrupt the airportβs OT systems. Check out the schedule for more details. Registration for this CTF is required on the day of the conference. Participants do not need to bring a laptop to participate.
Our friends at FoxPick will be back with a Lock Pick Village. Stop by and test your skills!
There will be sponsor tables, giveaways in the talks, a free raffle, and more! Those who register before October 10th will get a free t-shirt and Chick-fil-A lunch while tickets last.

New This Year: Tiered General Admission Pricing
We are introducing a new tiered pricing model for our General Admission tickets this year. This approach helps us better prepare for the conference while rewarding those who register early.
Each ticket tier has the same benefits and includes access to the BSidesAugusta conference, a conference t-shirt, and lunch. There are a limited number of tickets in each tier, so the earlier you register, the more you save! (Or, if you are feeling generous, purchase a higher tier ticket to help support BSidesAugusta!)
Here's a breakdown of the ticket tiers:
Group 1: $35
Group 2: $40
Group 3: $45
We highly encourage you to purchase your ticket early to secure the best price and help us get an accurate headcount for the event. We can't wait to see you there!

FAQs
Where will the training and conference be held?
Training classes (10/20-10/23) and the BSidesAugusta conference (10/25) will be held at the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center, also known as the Georgia Cyber Center.
Will it cost me to bring my child or a guest to the conference?
Yes. As great as the venue is, it has a finite amount of space for attendees. Every attendee must have a ticket. Please don't put our volunteers in the awkward position of denying entry for your un-ticketed child or other guest.
Do I have to bring my ticket to the training and/or conference?
Yes, please bring your ticket as it's your admission to the event and you will need it at check-in. You can bring your printed ticket or use the Eventbrite app.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Each attendee needs to have their own ticket in their own name.
What are my TRANSPORT/PARKING options getting to the Georgia Cyber Center?
The training venue is the Georgia Cyber Center, which is a short walk from the downtown conference hotels. If you are not staying at a nearby hotel, the most convenient way to get to the training venue is by car. There is a parking deck adjacent to the Georgia Cyber Center and your registration includes validated parking in that deck. Additional details TBA and will be published here. Services such as Uber and Lyft are available for a fare. Check with your hotel for shuttle availability.
If I register for any class during training week (10/20-10/23), do I need to buy a separate ticket to BSidesAugusta?
No! Registration for all classes listed above includes entry into BSidesAugusta and Security Onion Conference, as well as validated parking in the Georgia Cyber Center parking deck on your training day(s) and conference day(s). It also includes coffee and water service on your training day(s).
Does my ticket get me into Security Onion Conference on 10/24?
ONLY the TRAINING tickets include admission to Security Onion Conference. No other tickets sold on this site include admission to Security Onion Conference. Please check out Security Onion Conference's website to register for that outstanding conference!
What do I need to bring to the training?
