Applying for your first job can feel confusing and overwhelming. From filling out applications to knowing what employers actually care about, it is easy to feel stuck or unsure where to start.

This in-person Power Hour helps you learn how to apply for jobs with confidence and clarity. We walk through the application process step by step and focus on real world tips that make applying easier and less stressful.

During this session, you will:

• Learn what employers look for in job applications
• Understand how to fill out applications correctly and completely
• Avoid common mistakes that cost people opportunities
• Gain confidence applying for jobs on your own
• Learn how to follow up professionally after applying

SkillZilla Power Hours are interactive, supportive, and built for where you are right now. You do not need job experience or a perfect resume to participate.

This Power Hour works as a standalone session and also connects to SkillZilla cohorts and future opportunities.
